- 1. The MAZAM safe room installation device will be supplied packaged and sealed, all components including plaster extension and drainage pipe are supplied within the kit.
- 2. Position the device according to the air conditioning system plan, do not deviate from the safe room wall and ceiling.
- 3. When using the device in walls thicker than 200 mm, install one or more extension pipes as needed.
- 4. The product is suitable for wall thicknesses of 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 cm and is not intended for steel walls 80 cm thick. For wall thicknesses of 25, 35, 45 cm, cut 5 cm from the extension pipe.
- 5. Secure the device body to the casting formwork using nails through the designated holes.
- 6. Support the safe room device to the casting formwork and level horizontally and vertically.
- 7. Connect the drainage pipe to the faucet outlet along its entire length.
- 8. Secure the drainage pipe every 15 cm.

Guidelines for Device Positioning Before Casting
- The device is supplied packaged, all device components and plaster frame are stored inside the device.
- Do not remove the protective cover on the front of the device. Opening the device cover is performed by a certified air conditioning installer.
- Position the device according to the air conditioning system plan, do not exceed minimum distances from the safe room wall and ceiling. If the air conditioner dimensions and/or location exceed the recommended specifications, consult before casting.
- Secure the extension pipe using self-drilling screws.
Water Drainage Piping Connection Guidelines
- Connect the corrugated drainage pipe (from the cooling unit) to the vertical outlet of the faucet (by air conditioning technician).
- Turn the faucet handle to vertical position.
- Ensure the emergency pipe is connected to the horizontal outlet.
- Close the cover upon completion of installation
- Telescopic plaster frame allows adjustment of the device plane to the interior plaster plane.
- Pull the plaster frame without removing the cover from the concrete plane up to 50 mm according to the plaster thickness in the safe room.
- Secure the telescopic plaster frame using the 4 wedges.
- Perform plastering work flush with the frame plane.
- Do not remove the protective cover from the front of the device frame.
Air Conditioner Piping Connection and Sealing Guidelines (Copper Piping and Electrical Cable)
- Remove the screws from the cover.
- Pull the cover from its position.
- Position the air conditioner according to the drawing.
- Remove the brass nuts from the nipples, do not remove the nipples from the steel plate.
- Use nipples and sealing rings appropriate for gas pipes and cables according to their size.
- Thread the nut onto the pipe/cable.
- Thread the appropriate sealing ring and then insert the pipe into the nipple opening to the desired depth.
- Tighten the nut to achieve final seal.
